This office building, built in 1975, was clearly stuck in the “70’s”. The new Owners had a desire to transform the dated plan into a more contemporary, industrial loft character. There was a need to create numerous offices that maintained privacy yet allowed light to penetrate the center of the building. With a total “gut”, ceilings were opened up to expose structure, large interior glass windows were overlaid with factory-styled grids, the new conference room opened to the entrance lobby via a glass overhead door, and interiors were further rusticated with recycled wood and brick additions.
